After five long years, the legend returns. Best of the Best is back—bigger, bolder, and more intense than ever. Inspired by the iconic Hexy tournament, this isn’t just a competition—it’s a battlefield where skill, strategy, and sheer talent collide.
From unstoppable 1v1 duels to fierce team showdowns, this is where the greatest Dead by Daylight players prove who truly dominates. History will be rewritten, and only the strongest will rise to claim the crown.
About the Best of the Best
Best of the Best combines three competitive formats into one unified tournament, creating a space for every kind of top-tier player.
The tournament features 64 total participants, divided into three brackets:
- 1v1 Bracket – 32 individual players
- Higher Bracket – 16 competitive teams
- Lower Bracket – 16 teams from the wider public player base
Each bracket crowns one single winner, emphasizing excellence at the highest level.
The two 4v1 brackets share an equal prize structure, while the 1v1 bracket awards a slightly smaller prize, as it is earned by an individual player.
Participants may only compete in one bracket. Players entering a 4v1 bracket are not eligible to participate in any other bracket.
The full prize pool will be revealed in July 2026.
Championships in DBD
With Best of the Best, the DBD Comp Union officially introduces the Dead by Daylight Championships.
Each bracket crowns a champion, marking the beginning of a new competitive legacy across all formats:
- DBD Invictus Championship
- DBD World Championship
- DBD 1v1 World Champion
These championship titles are not symbolic. They are defendable honors, governed by official rules and future events.
